Participant ServicesThe IESO strives to ensure that participants have the information they need to manage their business in Ontario’s wholesale electricity market.

Marketplace Training – lists a series of training courses and online material designed to help new participants learn about the market and help those with industry experience improve their knowledge
Settlements – presents information on how participants are billed by the IESO
Metering – provides an overview of the obligations of metered market participants, meter service provides and the IESO
Market Entry – contains the steps required to become a market participant
Connection Assessments – outlines the IESO’s process for evaluating the reliability impacts from a new or modified connection to the power grid
