Additional Consultation on Proposed Changes to Frequency of 18-Month Outlook

As part of the IESO's proposal to change the frequency of the 18-Month Outlook, additional stakeholder consultations will take place beginning October 15, 2008 through the Forecasts and Assessments Standing Committee (FASC).
The IESO initiated a stakeholder consultation plan on August 7, 2008 to garner feedback on this change (SE-70: http://www.ieso.ca/imoweb/consult/consult_se70.asp) which proposes a semi-annual publication of the 18-Month Outlook in an effort to permit the IESO to conduct more in-depth analysis and to provide relief to market participants for current reporting requirements (http://www.ieso.ca/imoweb/news/newsItem.asp?newsItemID=4241).
The IESO proposes to continue providing monthly interim updates of essential data to keep market participants and other interested stakeholders informed of key changes between the semi-annual reports. These additional consultations will address the specific content to be included in these monthly interim updates.
