A stakeholder information session on the use of 24-hour optimization and three part offers and bids in a day-ahead mechanism has been scheduled for October 30th. The discussion will include details on how the optimization works in other markets and how different resource types (energy-limited, dispatchable load etc.) are handled in the optimization process.

The meeting will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at a hotel near the Toronto airport. Lunch will be provided. The agenda for this meeting will be posted shortly at: http://www.ieso.ca/imoweb/consult/consult_se21.asp
