	Estimating the Price Elasticity of Export Trades in the Ontario Electricity Market
		Working Paper, MEAR 2008-01 In today’s interconnected electricity markets with extensive interregional trades, the behavioural response of export transactions to domestic price changes can be a key contributing factor to the rapid mean reversion of electricity price. This paper develops a an econometric model to estimate the price elasticity of export trades in the Ontario market. Results indicate that export demand is highly sensitive to changes in the Ontario electricity price. Download/View \| File size: 229 KB
