Stakeholder Advisory Committee

The IESO Board of Directors has established a Stakeholder Advisory Committee enabling stakeholder representatives the opportunity to provide advice and recommendations directly to the IESO Board of Directors and Executive on market development and planning decisions, or any other matter that may be of concern to stakeholders.

Advisory Committee members are responsible for gathering input from their respective constituencies and representing constituencies' views on issues. In this regard, the Advisory Committee can establish Working Groups to assist them in their work.

Stakeholders are encouraged to contact their representative on the Advisory Committee for advice or to provide any comments to bring to the Committee meetings. The e-mail and phone number of the members can be found at "Advisory Committee Members."

In addition to these committees and working groups, an Emergency Preparedness Task Force (EPTF), chaired by the IESO, coordinates Ontario's electricity emergency planning efforts in conjunction with the Ministry of Energy and Emergency Management Ontario.
