Regulatory Affairs Standing CommitteeThe Regulatory Affairs Standing Committee is a forum for stakeholders to provide advice to the IESO on Regulatory Affairs. This includes the IESO's conditions of licence, its fee structure, and its revenue requirements regulatory review at the OEB. Regulatory Affairs also deals with U.S and Canadian regulatory developments relevant to the IESO, including those at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the National Energy Board (NEB).
Membership and OrganizationThe Regulatory Affairs Standing Committee is chaired by Kim Warren, IESO Manager, Regulatory Affairs. Participation is open to any party having an interest in, or affected by regulatory developments affecting the IESO. Involved parties are expected to have sufficient interest and experience in regulatory matters and to participate regularly in the business of the Standing Committee. Regulatory Affairs Standing Committee meetings are open to all market participants.
The Regulatory Affairs Standing Committee plans to address and report on regulatory issues of current relevance to market participants.
