Global Adjustment Archive

The Global Adjustment (GA) is the difference between the total payments made to certain contracted or regulated generators/demand management projects, and any offsetting market revenues.

The following tables summarize the GA since its inception from January 2005 until December 2011.

The Total GA is calculated each month by taking into account the following components:

  • GA-OEFC-NUG – Contracts for generators including non-utility generators (NUGs) administered by the Ontario Electricity Financial Corporation,
  • GA-OPG - OPG's nuclear and baseload hydroelectric generation,
  • GA-OPA - OPA contracts with generators and suppliers of conservation services.
