Ontario Electricity Demand
Saturday, March 13

On March 27 at 8:30 p.m., many Ontarians will show their support for Earth Hour by turning off the lights and other appliances, showing just how much of a difference a few small actions can make.

During Earth Hour, this graph will compare the actual electricity demand in the province against the demand on a typical Saturday with similar weather conditions in order to determine the maximum amount of electricity saved in megawatts (MW).
